dabr-code based sites

I got bored and decided to put this up on my main blog.

Lately or not so lately I’ve been playing around with the almost all powerful, immensely popular, ninja and awesome dabr code by @davidcarrington. And this is what I’ve come up with…. Not much.

The open source code can be downloaded from the Google code site and is completely open source and easy to set up. Well if it’s so easy then why has this project been seating on my laptop for little under a year then? I call it paralysis by analysis… awful monster that affects those with little foresight or determination to see beyond the obstacles. So I’ll just blog about it instead. And hopefully collect some 2 cents.

There have been a couple dabr base sites I’ve stumbled across and here are a few.
Thanks @EdwinAbuga for asking me the question and inspiring this post. Hehe :)

It's Hosting.

Twitter’s new oAuth feature does not allow callbacks from localhost ie. 127.0.0.1 my local machine that I use during development.
I know that there are a couple of work around to this but I’m yet to find the elusive silver bullet for it all.

On a side note if anyone could recommend how I can get some hosting done, preferably by a Kenyan company that is student friendly* please hit me up. Otherwise I’m moving from Dabr into something… more unique… hopefully. thanks @possumkeys for your comments on these apps I know got the idea of what people want.
Oh yeah I aint using php! I’m using .aspx .NET call me a traitor.
